Add some spook to your child’s Halloween party!
Halloween is approaching fast and you have probably forgotten about needing decorations for your child’s Halloween party. Don’t panic, we are here to help you make fun and simple Halloween decorations on a budget and a tight timeline.

Puffy Ghosts
Materials:
  • Paper Plates
  • Glue
  • Black Construction Paper
  • Cotton Balls
  • String
First, take the paper plates and cut them into a curvy ghost shape. Next, glue cotton balls onto the ghosts covering the entire plate to add a puffy layer of spookiness. After this, create eyes and a mouth using the black construction paper and scissors, then glue those to the ghost. After the ghost is dry, add string and hang around the house for a haunting look.

Glow-in-the-Dark Ghosts
Materials:
  • Clear Balloons
  • Green Glow Sticks
  • Sharpie Marker
A simple yet fun way to lighten up a dark room is with some glow-in-the-dark ghosts! This decoration consists of three easy steps. Partially blow up a balloon and insert the activated glow stick into the balloon. Finishing blowing up the balloon and tie off the end. Add a ghostly personality to each balloon with some big eyes and open mouths using a sharpie. Attach string or tape to location desired!

Mummy Door
Materials:
  • White Crape Paper or Toilet Paper
  • Black and Yellow Construction Paper
  • Tape
  • Optional – Red Marker
A fun way to add some scare to the party is to create a mummy door. Start with some black construction paper and add some spooky yellow eyes and tape those to the door to create your mummy’s face. Next, take white crape paper or toilet paper and cover the door like a mummy by taping pieces diagonal across the door and taping layers upon layers. This will make the door appear to be wrapped without decorating the opposite side as well. Once done, you can add some “blood” with a red marker. Just remember to leave space around the eyes!

We hope these fun decorations will spook up your child’s Halloween parties and even be a yearly tradition. The above listed items can be found at your local Marc’s. Be sure to check out our weekly ad for deals!
