  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned meat tenderizer
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 hamburger buns

  1. Preheat your grill to a medium heat and oil the grate. 
  2. Divide your ground beef into 6 even patties, making sure not to over work them.
  3. Season with salt, pepper & meat tenderizer. 
  4. In a medium sized pan or skillet, melt butter, adding the mushrooms and soy sauce cooking until browned. 
  5. Grill your patties until cooked throughout, usually about 6 minutes per side. 
  6. Scoop even portions of your mushroom mixture from earlier on to each burger. 
  7. Cover each burger with a slice of swiss cheese & close lid to allow it to melt. 
  8. Serve on a bun or on it's own & enjoy!
