  • 1 lb. beef Eye Round Steaks, cut 1 inch thick
  • salt & pepper
  • 1/2 cup plain non-fat yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
How to thaw beef: Defrost beef in refrigerator, never at room temperature.  Place frozen package on plate or tray to catch any juices & place in refrigerator. 


  1. Combine marinade ingredients in small bowl.  Place beef steaks & marinade in food-safe plastic bag; turn to coat.  Close bag securely & marinate in refrigerator 6 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. 
  2. Remove steaks from marinade; discard marinade.  Place steaks on grid over medium, ash covered coals.  Grill, covered, 13-15 minutes (over medium heat on preheated gas grill, 17-19 minutes) for medium rare (145ºF) doneness, turning occasionally. (Do not overcook)
  3. Carve into thin slices.  Season with salt & pepper, as desired.
