Coupon Policy Guidelines and Limitations

Coupons are a great way to save even more when shopping, and we make it easy to use them at our stores. Because of the variety of coupons available to our guests, we do have some guidelines and limitations on how coupons can be redeemed at Marc’s:

• We accept My Marc’s Savings digital coupons, Marc’s-issued paper coupons, manufacturer-issued paper coupons, and printed internet coupons.
• Valid registered phone number must be used at checkout to redeem qualifying digital coupons from your My Marc’s Savings wallet.
• We will accept one Marc’s coupon (paper or digital) and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.
• My Marc’s Savings digital coupons cannot be used on Closeout items; only paper manufacturer coupons may be used on Closeouts. The coupon price cannot exceed the cost of the item. If this occurs, the cashier would have to adjust the coupon down to the cost of the item.
• If both a manufacturer-issued paper coupon and a My Marc’s Savings digital coupon are presented for a single item, only the paper coupon will be applied.
• We cannot give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item; in that case, we'll adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item.
• We do not accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.
• Internet coupons may be subject to verification by store personnel.
• All Ohio Sales Tax must be paid on the full retail value of the item prior to the removal of any manufacturer-issued coupon. If it is a Marc’s-issued coupon, the tax base is lowered by the amount of the Marc’s coupon.

 
We do not accept:

• Electronically reproduced coupons
• Coupons that do not have a valid bar code
• Coupons that do not have a valid redemption address
• Coupons that are expired
• Coupons that do not scan
• Double coupons

 
All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier at the beginning of checkout process. Acceptance is subject to any restrictions listed on the coupon. We reserve the right to limit quantities of coupons used.

When making a return for a product purchased with a coupon, Marc’s cannot refund cash for the value of the coupon and cannot return the coupon that was used.
